Questions like “What was she wearing? Why was she out so late? Why was she in that neighborhood?” permeate conversations around survivors of sexual harassment and assault.

These questions are extremely harmful, not just because they further traumatize the survivor, but also because they turn the situation into a cautionary tale for other women.
